Healthy eating habits can be inculcated from a very tender age and to make this habit fun filled and enjoyable, class Prep of Delhi Public School Greater Faridabad, organized a healthy ‘Sprouts Salad Making Activity’ on Friday, May 15,2020. The excitement of our dipsites seemed to be super high as they enthusiastically geared up to turn into little Master Chefs. They were amazed to know that lentils / pulses are the seeds that can grow again into a plant. The students prepared the delicious salad following the instructions of their teachers step by step through an online master class. The activity helped them to learn the names of the spices and vegetables used for making the salad. The added flavor to the activity was the preparation of buttermilk, which the students enjoyed along with the sprouts salad. Preparing these dishes on their own boosted their confidence and made them more independent. A heartfelt thanks to the mothers / fathers who helped our young Dipsites and made this activity a great success.
