DPS Greater Faridabad is adopting several key highlights of NEP, such as introducing a flexible and multidisciplinary curriculum, promoting experiential learning, focusing on skill development, and emphasizing the use of technology to enhance learning outcomes.

NEP’s emphasis on a multidisciplinary and integrated curriculum will lead to a more holistic and well-rounded education at DPS Greater Faridabad. DPSGF is a Satellite School as it is functioning directly under the guidance of The DPS Society on all pivotal issues and reports to the Chairperson of Managing committee, nominated by the The DPS Society every month on its functioning in detail. Additionally the managing committee with nominees by The DPS Society several times during a session to closely supervises the functioning and initiatives of the school several times during a session. The school optimally utilizes the Teacher Training Facilities offered by the HRDC of The DPS Society and subjects experts from the school are invited to train teachers of other Delhi Public Schools. However the financial investment into the land, building and facilities is done by Hanumant Foundation.

The DPS Society closely guides the scholastic and co-scholastic profile of the school along with the domain of teacher training. It operates the calendar of Inter-DPS activities, Principal Conclaves, Research Projects, Observations and Assessments of the academic transaction etc. in which our school participates with full enthusiasm and very credibly. Also the Chairman of the School is nominated by The DPS Society & heads the Management Committee to which the Principal submits regular reports on the functioning of the school on monthly basis and through meetings at regular intervals. It also oversees the new facilities of programme being added by the school, as being in sync with prorgamme educators. It evaluates and approves the selection of competent staff as per performance norms of The DPS Society. We are delighted to share that the Chairman of The DPS Society, Mr. V. K. Shunglu is also the Vice-Chairman of DPS Greater Faridabad. Dr. (Mrs.) Usha Luthra is the Chairperson of DPS Greater Faridabad

Yes. It is a recognized school affiliated to CBSE for running classes from Nursery to Senior Secondary Level

Yes. We believe that the real world is inhabited and enriched by both genders and our students must prepare for the real world by learning to respect and grow with the opposite gender.

Yes, the class rooms are air-conditioned to ensure adequate comfort for children in the summer months. They are also well ventilated and brightly lit to make the most of spring and autumn months, so that children enjoy nature in the more moderate months.

The school offers scholarships to meritorious students of classes VIII to IX through the annual J. K. Jain Scholarship Award. A notification is sent out to all interested through an advertisement in leading local dailies inviting applications from students with strong scholastic aptitude. This scholarship is open to both internal and external students. The process for selection of awardees involves written test and interview by the scholarship committee. J. K. Jain Scholarship is also offered to students posting excellent performance in CBSE class X examination at Secondary Level. This scholarship is open to both internal students of the school as well as students who have passed out from other schools and wish to enroll at DPS, Greater Faridabad.

The safety and security of every student enrolled with us from Classes Nursery to XII is a prime responsibility which we take very seriously. Entry to the school campus is tightly governed by manned security gates and over 400 surveillance cameras are in place to cover the entire school campus, including the school building and outdoor spaces. All corridors of the four blocks of school are closely watched by a lady Floor Supervisor stationed on every floor. Security guards are always positioned at points where the four blocks intersect. The senior school and middle school students are disallowed entry into the Junior Wing. Teachers/Lady Staff travel in the school bus to escort students in the morning and afternoon. All buses have cameras, GPRS facility and speed governors. Movement of all school staff and authorized visitor is closely monitored. Entry into school follows a strict process of verification. There is vigilant patrolling of area around the school by a special vehicle dedicated to this task in collaboration with the Faridabad Police. The school staff is under oath of responsibility and is fully monitored through the POCSO Committee rules. The strictest of action is guaranteed for any lapse in duty of ensuring safety and security of students and staff of the school.

School is well equipped to handle first aid medical care to students. The school has tied up with a leading medical care facility of the area for any medical care of specialized nature. The school clinic maintains and updates card of all students through regular medical checkups including eye and dental. Any direction / guidance given by the school on health and fitness of the child must be taken seriously by parents and followed up with competent medical attention. As per Govt. directives, regular polio and immunization schedules are organised. To ensure good health of the students, the school has tied-up with Metro Hospital, Faridabad. An ambulance with driver is on standby duty at all times.

Our growing canvas of sports infrastructure facilitates play of Football, Skating, Basketball, Karate, Table – Tennis, Kho-Kho, Cricket, Yoga, Aerobics, Sand Pit, Splash pool etc. A half-Olympic size swimming pool shall be added soon. The school maintains a stable of six horses to equip interested students with equestrian skills. We are also coming up with a state-of-the-art Indoor Sports Complex.

Great care is taken in the way we recruit our teachers – who we believe are the strongest pillars of a great school. Along with the requisite academic and professional qualifications, love for children, love for learning and passion for the job are essential qualifications to be a DPS Greater Faridabad teacher. To ensure that we select educators with the right attitude, we have put in place multiple processes for recruitment of teachers. They involve a deeply self-reflective application form, multiple psychometric tests, and three levels of interviews by experts. The process of selection is vigorous and requires lesson demonstration, written test, several rounds of preliminary interaction before approval by Staff Selection Committee constituted by The DPS Society each academic year. Understanding the best use of technology, interpersonal and communication skills are also key skills of the teachers at DPS Greater Faridabad.

Transport facility is available for Faridabad & adjoining areas. Parents are requested to ascertain availability of bus facility for the area of their residence before completing admission formalities. Bus facilities are a privilege and not a right. Yes, the entire campus is Wi-Fi enabled. All class rooms have smart boards, projectors for technologically enabled learning and IT skill based activities are taught through 5 well-equipped labs. In addition, online programmes such as MindSpark, MindBox, School Cinema are an integral part of the curriculum.

No. We encourage our students to eat healthy home-cooked food. The school provides a closely monitored canteen facility for use by interested students.

Due consideration is given to admission of siblings subject to availability of seats and performance of applicant in assessment procedure for (Class I onwards). Admission of a sibling cannot be claimed as a right.

Yes, you can register online. Some key documents (Copy of Residence Proof, copy of Aadhar Card, photograph etc. as mentioned) need to be uploaded at the time of registration itself. Click Here for Online Registration AY(2023-24)
