MUN

What began as a trickle has now transformed into a deluge. The Model United Nations (MUN) Conference bit our Dipsites way back in 2015 when a few students of our school began attending the MUN Conferences in the schools of Delhi NCR. With the workshop held by Dikshant Malik in 2015, many students of then grades IX and X started participating in more MUN Conferences. Awards too became the norm, with our students making their mark in the various MUNs being hosted by reputed schools in Delhi NCR

The next step was an intra school MUN Conference, for which Samarth Kaul was found to be a deserving Chairperson, Ananya Bharadwaj an able Secretary General and Shaarang Majumdar as the Charge D’ Affairs. These students of Grade 11 proved to be keen debaters, able leaders and sincere and dedicated trainers. Thus was born the MUN Club of DPS Greater Faridabad.

With FLYMUN (Future Lies in You) 2018, the dream took shape and the MUN fever bit many more students right from grade VII onwards. Offering a platform for deserving students to find a voice and hone their diplomatic and negotiating skills, in the times to come, the alumni of DPS Greater Faridabad are sure to become known across the nation as speakers, leaders and influencers. The international press body was soon to flourish, with many a cartoonist, a photographer, a reporter weaving dreams of transforming passions into professions.

Now, with the third edition of FLYMUN 2019 being organized in the month of August 2019, the school corridors are buzzing with energy, and the hot topics are agendas, committees, lobbies. The next step? Well, the sky is the limit!!
