On October 11, 2023, DPS Greater Faridabad honoured its shining achievers at the 10th Scholar Badge Ceremony. We were privileged to have Prof. Jyoti Rana, Registrar at Shri Vishwakarma Skill University, as our esteemed Chief Guest. In recognition of the exceptional academic achievements for the session 2022-23, a total of 356 students from grades V and VIII were proudly bestowed with the scholar badge. Top scorers from all the sections of each class were given the Proficiency Award.
The Principal Ms Surjeet Khanna accorded a warm welcome to the esteemed gathering. She reinforced the pivotal role that the partnership between the parents and the school plays in the life of young learners. She led the parents on a nostalgic journey down the 10-year memory lane, reflecting on how, together, we have grown and evolved as a school.
Among the invitees were the parents and grandparents of the young scholars. The parents proudly watched a cultural programme of songs and dances. The energizing dance form painted a vivid and majestic picture of Lord Ganesha and Lord Rama among the audience. The tunes and beats of the English choir and School Band set the hearts racing and spread positive vibes and energy. In addition to witnessing the colourful programme the audience whole heartedly applauded the young Dipsites receiving the coveted Scholar Badge .
The Chief Guest, Prof Jyoti Rana in her speech congratulated the badge holders and acknowledged the efforts of the parents and school in molding the personality of the children. While sharing her own experience Prof Jyoti Rana urged the parents to build confidence among their children, as a confident child will grow into a happy human being.
The ceremony concluded with the entire congregation singing the national anthem in unison.
