AGRANI – The Interact Club of Delhi Public School, Greater Faridabad, proudly organized a PLASTIC COLLECTION CAMPAIGN in collaboration with Bharat Soka Gakkai (BSG) within the school premises on October 5th and 6th, 2023. The enthusiastic participation of our Dipsites made this initiative a resounding success.
Our proactive Dipsites diligently gathered various plastic items including polyethylene, milk packets, water bottles, shampoo and oil bottles, detergent containers, masala and dal packets, plastic food wraps, salad dressing bottles, and beverage bottles from their homes, embracing the role of an EARTH BUDDY.
A dedicated team of our students visited every classroom, meticulously collecting the segregated plastic articles from their fellow students. Subsequently, a van from Bharat Soka Gakki arrived on 7th October 2023 to collect these articles for recycling and safe disposal, ensuring the responsible management of plastic waste.
The Principal, Mrs. Surjeet Khanna applauded the students for their outstanding spirit and initiative in making their environment Green and Clean. She took a moment to address all the students, inspiring them with a powerful message: “Let’s come together, be responsible Earth buddies, and make a difference by adopting sustainable practices in our daily lives.”
