Ek Dharaa Ek Kutumb Ek Bhavishya

The landing of the Chandrayan-III on the moon, the successful conduct of the prestigious G20 summit and many such accomplishments have put India on the path to global recognition but, our true strength as Indians , lies in the fact that we are able to stand united despite all our diversities. From the pinnacle of the mighty Himalayas to the picturesque kanya Kumari , we are one in our heart and spirit.  Class Prep Students of DPS Greater Faridabad proudly celebrated this unique spirit of ‘Unity in Diversity’ through their Cultural Production, aptly titled ‘ Ek Dhara, Ek Kutumb , Ek Bhavishya’ , hosted by DPS Greater Faridabad  on 27th December 2023.

The event commenced with a heartfelt welcome to all the guests and seeking the almighty’s blessings through lighting of the pious lamp. The honourable Principal Dr. Bindu Sharma then addressed the august gathering and presented the guests with a token of appreciation. Chief Guest Ms. Ekta Raman Publicist, Journalist & Communicative skills trainer, many distinguished guests, parents and special guests as children from NGO, Prabhat Foundation graced the occasion.

An extravagant cultural presentation began with a mesmerizing performance by the ‘Prabhat Foundation’. Annual School report, listing the various accomplishments of the school in the current academic year, was proudly presented by the Vice Head Girl Ms. Harsheen Barar. A brilliant amalgamation of cultural presentation followed, wherein our little stars set the stage ablaze with their heartwarming and foot thumping performances. School grounds and stage decked in the hues of the tri-colour added to the patriotic fervour in the air. The rich cultural heritage of India was presented gleefully by the tiny tots dressed in their Indian traditional best. The presentation saw a devotional opening with a ‘Shiv Stuti’ .The musical footprints traced the length and breadth of our beloved India. Rhythmic dance numbers ranging from the melodious Kashmir, to the energetic Punjab, from the pious Ghats of Bengal to the colourful beaches of Goa , all states were showcased . The zealous performances by the brigade of the little ones compelled the mesmerized and spell bound audience to applaud and cheer on each performance earnestly. The entire atmosphere reverberated with the spirit of ‘Hum Bharti’.

The Chief Guest whole heartedly praised the efforts by the team to put up this grand show. She spoke highly of the school community for a flawless conduct of the event. Headmistress, Ms. Ritu Jain tendered the vote of thanks to the guests, parents and the entire team. The event culminated with the National Anthem, sung in patriotic unison by all present. Chants of ‘Jai Hind’ that followed echoed through everybody’s hearts.
