Festivals help to spread good cheer and are welcomed by one and all. Lohri which is the first festival of the year and celebrated on 13th January, bids adieu to the winters and welcomes the spring season with a lot of cheer. The festive mood was upbeat and the students of class II immersed in the festive spirit with virtual Lohri celebrations. They were made aware of the significance of the festival and thereafter students enjoyed dancing to the folk songs played during the session. They wore their creative caps to make a beautiful Lohri scene using peanut shells, matchsticks and popcorn and also enjoyed making several figures dancing around the bonfire using peanut shells. It was a mesmerizing and enriching activity enjoyed by all the students.
