To celebrate the world of fantasy and give wings to the imagination of our little Dipsites, DPS, Greater Faridabad organized a fancy dress activity, ‘My Fantasy World’ for the students of class Nursery on Friday, February 24, 2023. The fascinating theme ‘Fairy Tales/Cartoons’ beautifully blended learning with fun. The young learners came dressed up as their favourite character from the fairy tales and the cartoon world. Girls dressed up as their all-time favourite Princess, Cinderella, Snow White, Minnie Mouse, to name a few. The heroic characters such as Superman, Spiderman, Hulk, Iron Man, Pinocchio were the boys’ choice. The munchkins dazzled with pride as they enacted the character and spoke confidently about the same. The beautiful costumes and props added magnificence to their presentation. The activity allowed our little ones to live their fantasies and exhibit their talent in an impressive way. Also, the body posture and expressions while performing was very appealing and worthy of an applause. The sparkling glee on their face on getting applauded was exquisite. It was a great way to boost their social and emotional development. The active participation of the young learners not only enhanced their communication skills but also helped them gain confidence.
It was indeed a vibrant learning experience for our little Dipsites which will be cherished forever by each one of us with a smile.
