The key to success in the turbulent times is to adapt, change and embrace challenges that come our way. This has truly been the endeavour at Delhi Public School Greater Faridabad where the Summer Camp took the digital route this year too, setting yet another benchmark. Class II Dipsites participated in multifarious activities held from 31stMay to 11th June, 2021. The array of fun and creative activities were curated in a way that they not only kept the kids engaged and entertained, but also helped the students pick up a hobby or skill that they have their interest in while increasing their concentration, eye-to hand coordination and problem solving capabilities at the same time.
Experiential Interaction , Physical Fitness and Non Flame cooking activities for students of Class II were carefully crafted to nurture their curiosity and exposed the students to explore, learn and develop a scientific temperament through exciting, unique, practical and fun filled activities. The various hands-on experiences like Cloud making experiment , Rainbow experiment to demonstrate formation and the properties of a rainbow, exploring the world of fruits through Fruit Investigation, Lemonade Making, Train Corn Salad, Fruit Sticks making activity etc, incorporated science& Technology into simple and joyful activities. The goal of these activities was to foster valuable 21st century skills like problem solving, critical and creative thinking, collaboration and also to develop a scientific attitude and a rational outlook towards life at an early stage.
The exuberant learners zealously participated & showcased their diligence towards each planned activity. This Summer Camp was earnestly appreciated not only by the participants but also by their parents. The overwhelming acknowledgement through their reviews and feedbacks was a motivating factor for the entire DPSGF family.
