“The end of a melody is not its goal: but nonetheless, had the melody not reached its end it would not have reached its goal either. ” –Friedrich Nietzsche
SITASH, the collaborative initiative between DPS Greater Faridabad and Chirec International School Hyderabad, culminated with a magnificent valedictory ceremony on 1st of September 2021.
The comperes for the ceremony Agamya Agarwal and Seerat Chaddha extended an affable welcome to everyone. Like all things auspicious, the ceremony began with the invocation of Lord Ganesha. Anwita and Avyukt from DPS Greater Faridabad sought the almighty’s blessing through a melodious yet pious ‘Ganesh Vandana’. To add a dash of rhythm and grace, Ishanvi Majumdar presented an exuberant rendition of a classical dance form called ‘Alarippu’ as a mark of respect to the God, the Guru and the audience.
We took this opportunity to reminisce and walk down the memory lane, to relive the wonderful moments shared, during the course of the activities conducted for classes 4 and 5 from both the schools, through a short video clipping. The zealous participation of all the partakers in the activities was also appreciated through awarding them badges of honour.
Vice Principal Chirec International School, Ms. Katyayini addressed the gathering and praised the efforts of the team for the marvelous effort put in towards making SITASH, a success. Principal DPS Ms. Surjeet Khanna also addressed the team and praised them for their whole hearted contribution towards the collaborative initiative SITASH.
