DPSS HRD organized an interactive session on “Ratio Analysis and Accounting Ratios” on 5th August 2021.
Dr. Shital Vekariya (Assistant Professor Department of Accounting and Financial management, The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda, was the resource person who threw the light on Accounting Ratios and their applicability in real life situations. It was an open – discussion workshop where teachers from distinguished schools discussed their qualms at length. It was organized under the superb mentorship of DPS Society. During the session various tools to analyse financial statements were discussed.
Amongst all tools of Financial Analysis, how Accounting Ratios makes comparison easier was discussed at length. Ratios are helpful in making all financial decisions were the key point of discussion. It was a commendable step by the DPS Society to bring virtually all teachers under the mentorship of Dr.Shital Vekariya.
The session ended with a round of discussion and vote of thanks by Ms. Vanita Sehgal.
