DPSS HRD organized an online interactive session on “Innovation and Entrepreneurship in education” on 9th August 2021.
Dr. Soumitra Dutta, (Professor of management S C Johnson Graduate School of Management, Cornell University, New York, USA)
was the resource person who threw the light on Blending Innovation and Technology in Education. It was an open – discussion workshop where teachers from distinguished schools discussed their qualms at length. It was organized under the superb mentorship of DPS Society.
During the session, Dr. Soumitra told about technology and Innovation in education and its impact on young generation, various stakeholders including school teachers. He further added how to inculcate entrepreneurship skills and abilities at school levels. Encouraging internship at schooling will lure young youth to adopt entrepreneurship as a lucrative career. Disruptive innovations and Incremental innovations were the key features of the webinar. It was a commendable step by the DPS Society to bring virtually all teachers under the mentorship of Dr. Soumitra Dutta.
The session ended with a round of discussion and vote of thanks by Ms. Vanita Sehgal.
