“Smiles are a chain reaction”
After a long time of silent playgrounds and empty classrooms, on Monday, October 25, 2021, DPS Gr. Faridabad experienced sheer joy and exuberance by welcoming back its Dipsites of classes III – V to school. To make this first day very special for our Dipsites and to reacclimatize them to the campus and re-engage positive connections with their peers and teachers, we celebrated this day as a ‘HAPPY SMILES DAY’ for all students of classes III & IV. The day was power packed with many fun filled activities like Wearing a Smiley Badge and sharing a smile with everyone. Being Happy in Covid Times –focus on safety norms, importance of handwashing, sanitization, social distancing etc, Laughter Yoga, an Ice breaker game and a happy guided tour of the school campus were organised to teach them the value of being happy and spreading happiness. The idea behind this celebration was to inculcate the thought that a smile is symbolic of good will, gratitude and cheer and can also solve many problems without any negativity .The students were super excited and overjoyed to meet their friends, teachers and enjoy the long misses campus. It was a delightful comeback.
