“Unityis strength… when there is teamwork and collaboration, wonderful things can be achieved.”
With this awe-inspiring thought and to celebrate the essence of ‘Unity in Diversity’ students of class Nursery enjoyed playing ‘Palli Patti’, the traditional game of Telangana, most popularly known as Pitthu. The game was planned and organised under the ‘Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat’ program which aimed at acquainting the students with the glorious states of Telangana and Haryana. Pitthu being an outdoor game taught the little ones, value of the environment and gave them an opportunity to connect with nature. It was played between two teams involving a ball and a pile of flat stones. It was a delight to watch the students jump with joy as they succeeded in knocking over stacked stones with a ball. Running, stacking, unstacking, strategy, teamwork were the various aspects of the game which added to the fun. The little munchkins were thrilled to be a part of such an exciting and energizing game as their face reflected happiness and a sense of achievement.
Our Dipsites played this splendid game with great enthusiasm and vigour. It was a great way to help them learn that being united helps us focus on our goal much more efficiently.
