Eid Al Fitr was celebrated with great fervor and zeal at DPSG Faridabad on Thursday, May 5 , 2022. It is a festival of prayers, joy, happiness, sacrifices and brotherhood. It is the second most important festival in the Muslim Calendar. The students of Class IV presented the assembly which began by invoking the blessing of the almighty. Students highlighted the importance of the festival and wished each other Eid Mubarak. The little Dipsites were happy to update everyone with the News and beautifully explained the essence of the festival and the way people celebrate it worldwide. They also mentioned the significance of ‘Eidi’. Values like unity in diversity, compassion, sharing and brotherhood were reinforced. The assembly ended with a quiz by the students. The aim of celebrating different festivals is to a spread lesson of brotherhood, peace and prosperity among the students, irrespective of their caste or religion. With this beautiful and inspiring note the assembly came to an end.
