“Clay can be dirt in the wrong hands but clay can be art in the right hands”
A blazing red yellow sun shining brightly along the clouds, birds flying, a colourful snail, a caterpillar turning into a fluttery butterfly, a lantern house, a squeaky mouse, a garden full of flowers and many more creations to one’s imaginations came alive during the virtual activity ‘Crafty Fingers- Scenery Making With Clay Moulding’, held on Thursday, December 10, 2020 during online class.
The tactile hands on nature of clay made children get engrossed allowing for a high degree of creativity. Enhancing finger-dexterity, fine and gross motor skills, the little hands rounded, rolled, blended and squeezed the clay smoothly and efficiently to fulfill their heart’s desires and fantasies. Boosting the morale and confidence, each child experienced the feeling of satisfaction and accomplishment. The finished product at hand by each of them was a treasure to cherish and won everyone’s appreciation.
