“Colour is a power which directly influences the soul.” – Wassily Kandinsky
To help our young Dipsites explore the power and beauty of colours, we at DPS Greater Faridabad celebrated ‘Blue Day’ over an online session for the students of Nursery on Friday, July 16, 2021.The little ones were introduced to the spectacular blue colour through a series of enthralling activities. Attired in myriad hues and tints of blue, our young angels sparkled with joy and optimism. They wholeheartedly participated in the celebration and buzzed with fervour as they tried their hands on the statue game using an array of blue-coloured objects. Very magnificently, they also sprayed paint onto their all-time favourite cartoon character Doraemon’s mask using a tooth-brush. The little munchkins were amazed at how the colours blended together and were excited to discover the spray, form a unique pattern on the mask. The highlight of the day was the story, ‘The Blue Fox’. It was narrated to the students with striking props, making the session a lot more engaging. It was indeed a visual treat to see our little ones tapping their feet on the rhythmic musical beats. Active participation of young learners fostered not only their cognitive, creative and listening skills but also enhanced colour recognition.
It was indeed an exhilarating event with dazzling faces reflecting joy and happiness.
