The world of technology always has room for more, more ideas, more concepts, and more innovative techniques. In an ongoing collaboration with the technology giant IBM, DPS Greater Faridabad continued with the second phase of the student mentoring workshop held on January 29, 2020. The AI ideation and mentorship workshop was held at Springdales School, Pusa Road, New Delhi for all the students whose projects had been shortlisted in the first phase conducted in DPS Greater Faridabad in November 2019.
Of all the students who had participated in the ideating level, the ones selected for round 2 included Rachit Bhatia, Kriti Banka, Advait N, Sandeep Kumar, AdeshChoudhary and Akhil Prasad of grade 11. The One-to-One session was conducted by IBM mentors with the selected teams to make them understand how to move ahead with the prototyping work and to create a live model for their ideas.
IBM mentors shared their knowledge and experiences with students and guided them to move ahead with confidence. As far as ideas are concerned, every child has unlimited imagination and no end to dreams. But when challenged about the feasibility of transferring their concepts into reality in terms of production line and profitability, many ideas die an untimely death. And this is the reason why prospectslike the AI Ideation and Mentorship Workshop under CBSE AI Enabled SEWA Program initiated by IBM are creating windows for deserving students to avail of career opportunities even before their completion of school life.
