Horse Riding
It has been proven by research that animals have a strong positive relation with children's emotional and intellectual well being. It has been hypothesized and proven that kids with pets have better relationship management skills and are more easy tempered than others. With the same in mind,and also with the thought of providing a far reaching impact on the child's development, Delhi Public School Greater Faridabad has started with the Horse Riding Club. The school now houses in its stables 6 horses - 5 stallions and 1 mare. A trained instructor is employed for training the students in horse riding and also inculcate in them a natural respect for animals and all things alive by forming a bond with these animals.Our students have given these names - Megha, Badal, Toofan, Juliet, Vinzo, Topgun.

    While confident academic performance continues to be our motivation, we wish to make our students positive, knowledgeable and skillful young leaders through exposure to activities of interest be becoming members of various clubs of the school under the Personal Development Plan (PDP).     With the keen desire to expose students to broadening of horizon, new professional opportunities available in the real world and to bring professionally qualified and well placed parents into active contact with students, the school has created access to a pool of professionally qualified parents who are willing to interact with students on diverse subjects such as information as careers, creative skills, attitude building, communication skills, physical fitness etc. The Mentors interact at well chosen opportunities with students and guide their development.
