The Visit Of Japanese Delegation - July 5 , 2016(View All News and Announcements)
We have tender hatchlings in our care and we are dedicated to provide the warmth that they need to spread their wings and take a flight. If now they are not able to soar in the sky, we want the sky to come to them.
We are always on a look for endeavours that facilitate advancement. One such venture was 'Namaste 7', a Japanese delegation comprising of senior officials - Mr Kitayama, Mr Yokoyama, Ms Iisaka, Ms Tokioka, Ms Morita and Ms Devina Sharma, Mr Balram and Ms Shipra, that visited Delhi Public School, Greater Faridabad On July 5, 2016.
The delegation was warmly welcomed by the Principal, Ms Surjeet Khanna at their arrival. They had an interactive session with the principal. After the session, the visitors went around the school and were pleased to see and understand the school's latest project - 'Gift a Plant' and 'Red Revolution'. They also visited an art exhibition displaying art and craft articles made by the Dip sites. Indian choir mesmerized the guests with a lovely song 'Yeh Mat Kaho Khuda Se' Later the delegation observed an English lesson being taught in one of the classes. They also interacted with the students of the school. They were delighted to see the work of our youngest group from classes Nursery to II. The foot tapping dance of class III enthralled the guests. They tried to fall into the steps of our young Dipsites and enjoyed dancing with them. The last but not the least was a Robotics presentation. The visitors were impressed to see the young Dip sites presenting their designing and technological skills. The delegation appreciated the curriculum and the system of the school.
During a warm interaction with Mr Rohit Jainendra Jain, Pro VC of school and Mr Anil Chopra, Member MC of school, the delegates shared their very positive observation of the school and the progressive pedagogy at work at all levels and domains.
The Namaste 7 team departed with enthusiastic resolve to keep in touch and share their learning of the DPS culture with school team at Kobe, Japan.View Images
