On 27th January 2018 , the Rotaractors of Delhi Public School Greater Faridabad attended an International Rotary Club Rally 'Polio Free India' at Grand Columbus International School Faridabad to raise awareness on the need to keep India and adjacent nations polio free. At the commencement of the event ,the young Rotaractors of the school were felicitated with the charters by District Governor RTN. Ravi Choudhary to mark their presence in the club alongwith Pro- Vice Chairman of the school and existing Rotarian Mr Rohit Jain. The Rotaractors Sarthak Datta( 11D), Samarth Kaul (11D), Steve(11D) , Shaarang Majumdar (11B) were the active participants in the rally. A TV news crew from Korea , Belgium accompanied the Rotarians throughout their visit, taking the 'End Polio' Now message back to their country. It set a remarkable example of How Rotarians thrives on teamwork. The rally began from the premises of the host school to door-to-door mop-up campaign to sensitise the local community to the significance of polio vaccination.The rally took place ,involving 500 people from the local schools along with foreign delegates ,to campaign for polio immunisation. The colourful rally was interspersed with the undying energy and spirit of young Rotarians to draw the attention of localities to the need of an hour i.e to make nation Polio free.It was indeed a memorable experience for young Rotaractors of DPS Grefa. They were all excited to break through such a breathtaking opportunity.

The rally was a major milestone in the global effort to eradicate polio. The youngsters were honoured to be there alongside Belgium and Korean Rotarians in the battle to control polio.
