(View All News and Announcements)

We at DPS Greater Faridabad have imbibed Robotics in our curriculum to enable our students to deepen their roots with technology and foray in the field. Since last two years we are an enthusiastic participant of Robocup that is held annually to inculcate interest in S.T.E.M Education (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics). It brings together the young people from all over the world to exhibit their creativity & problem solving skills through an educational robotics competition.

We bagged overall the second position at this level and are waiting to see our names for the International level, for which the participating teams are expected to be declared by March 2018.

Experience to Cherish

On 25 January, 2018, we headed to Bangalore to rock the National Robocup Junior Competition. All the teammates and teachers were in high spirits. Our team was well prepared and our belief in winning the competition was strong. It had been a stunning journey from the regional to nationals. We worked extremely hard for this competition and mastered many things and learnt from our mistakes under the guidance of our teachers. The team was well synchronized and the tasks were equally shared among the team members. I am thankful to all the teachers who helped in preparation of the competition. The practice day of the competition started with a blast. Our robot worked well. On the Final Day, the performance was marvelous. The task was successfully accomplished. Our team was awarded with the 2nd prize. I am grateful to the honourable Principal ma'am and my dear teachers for providing us with such an opportunity. It helped me to know about the field of robotics better and gave innumerous unforgettable experiences that I will cherish for life. It helped me to boost my confidence and also taught me how to make quick decisions under pressure how to contribute in a team.
